The CRIRSCO Executive met in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 7 September 2026 for an Executive meeting to finalise arrangements for this week’s in-person Special General Meeting (SGM) of Members.

The executive meeting marked the beginning of the SGM programme, which brings together the CRIRSCO Executive, representatives of all the CRIRSCO members and delegations from applicant countries and invited guests. The week’s events will include discussions on CRIRSCO’s governance, finances, communications, and external relationships. It will also provide an opportunity for applicant delegations to find out more about how CRIRSCO works. The meeting also provides an annual opportunity for social networking and informal discussion amongst the participants.
The SGM will also include a public conference on the topic of “Mineral Asset Valuation, Financing and Reporting Standards” on 10 September.
